This naturally hydrating and refreshing Watermelon Mint Drink combines sweet watermelon with fresh mint and lime. It's the perfect beverage for summer or with a cozy winter twist!
4cupscubed seedless watermelonabout ½ of a medium watermelon
0.5cupfresh mint leavesplus more for garnish
1lime, juiced
1tbsphoney or agave syrupoptional, depending on sweetness
1cupcold water or sparkling water
ice cubesto serve
1pinchsaltoptional, enhances flavor
Instructions
Chop the watermelon into chunks and place in a blender. If chilled, it enhances the flavor.
Add mint leaves and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
Stir in cold water or sparkling water. Add ice and chill until ready to serve.
