Ingredients
  

Pizza & Sauce

  • 1 ball 450 g pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp 30 ml olive oil
  • 120 ml 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 60 ml 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

Toppings

  • 200 g 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200 g 2 cups dill pickles, thinly sliced and well drained
  • Optional: 4 slices cooked bacon crumbled or 100 g cooked ham
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250°C (500°F) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside. Roll dough into a 30 cm (12-inch) circle. Brush edges with olive oil.
  • Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, garlic powder, and pickle juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1 cm (1/2-inch) border.
  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan, then add half of the pickle slices.
  • Add the remaining cheese and pickles, and top with bacon or ham if using.
  • Bake for 11–13 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Let the pizza rest for 2 minutes before sprinkling with fresh dill. Slice and serve.

Notes

Always pat pickles dry to avoid soggy crust.
Try garlic-cream or red sauce for variation.
Sauce can be made ahead and stored for 5 days.
Pizza dough can be refrigerated for 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
